Student Voice / CHAPTER 2: ENSURE THAT STUDENTS FEEL HEARD
Guiding Student Learning Through Conferences
A video that shows how one-on-one student-teacher conferences can be used for learning

Description

This resource is a case study of how one middle school teacher in Wisconsin is using student-teacher conferences/interviews to gauge where students are in their learning and help students in developing their ideas on the task at hand. The teacher prompts students to articulate what they need to do for the project, asking process-orientated questions, and asks students what they have learned through doing the project.
