A Guide for Parents: Advocacy for Restorative Justice
This guide provides advice from parents to other parents seeking to advocate for the adoption of Restorative Justice Practices in their child’s school.

Description

A group of Chicago Public School parents from different neighborhoods came together to form the POWER-PAC and started the “Elementary Justice Campaign:Stopping the School-to-Prison Pipeline”. These parents advocated for Chicago Public Schools (CPS) to move away from zero-tolerance policies and instead take up a restorative justice approach to discipline. This guide provides advice from parents to other parents seeking to advocate for the adoption of Restorative Justice Practices in their child’s school.
